National Association of Webmasters Extends Connectivity Expertise
Brad Gardner Named Manager of Telecommunications
Sacramento, CA-December 5th, 1997: The National Association of Webmasters announced today that Brad Gardner, newly appointed Manager of Telecommunications, will be available for member support effective immediately. In addition to fielding Webmasters' questions, he will review and publish on connectivity and technology issues associated with the Internet and Web content delivery. "Connectivity issues surrounding multimedia content delivery are of great interest to our membership," said Bill Cullifer, Executive Director of the Association. "Brad's expertise is in the area of voice and data communications, a subject both critically important and often misunderstood by Webmasters. His appointment is the latest example of NAW's commitment to the professional development of our members."
Gardner's more than 14 years of experience in the telecommunications industry includes various assignments with AT&T and Pacific Telesis, a commercial phone system entrepreneurship, and extensive network design experience. Cullifer considers his appointment strategic, noting that "the mission of the Association is not only to help meet the current needs of the industry, but also to create and endorse professional standards for Webmasters working in business, education and government. In order to meet our goals, core competency in infrastructure and industry-insider expertise are critical. I'm confident that Brad will help us define and achieve those objectives."
